Bustin up Brenham

Last weekend we made plans to meet our friends the Lauritsen's in Brenham, and go to the Bluebell Creamery, a park with a carousel, and then out to eat. As luck would have it though, the one day we're trying to entertain five kids in a strange small town is the one day it rained! I had not considered this possibility based on recent precipitation levels. Luckily though we found a giant arcade/bumper boat/go kart track place, and we set up shop. The kids were entertained, Brent and Travis actually had a lot of fun, and Freyja and I got to catch up over the cacophony of beeps and whirls.

Lydia and Blake jumped right back in to their friendship - too cute! (And Crusher was a big hit too, you can't see him but that explains why they are squatting on the floor).
