Movie Day

Early one recent morning, Blake set up a movie theatre.

The Theatre Manager:

Though the crowd was initially excited for this premier, many of them keeled over from the long wait.
Dane is still cooperative, but looks like he's getting sick of being bossed around.

Tallest viewers sit in the back, of course.

Soccer and Cheerleading

The Bowie High cheerleaders practice during Blake's indoor soccer program. Today while I was filming Blake's first scrimmage, another mom told me to check out what Dane was doing. (Blake is the one in all black, and he had a lot of fun running after the ball!)

Trick or Treat

Trick-or-treating was a great time for Jenga Fett and our little monkey. Early on, we encountered a spooky house with a real monster/ghost/freaky man, and subsequently after each house Dane would mock-cry and say, "Care me!" (Scare me!) and insist that we hold him. We were remembering how cute it was last year when he kept trying to go inside the houses (which he only did once this year) and how for a few days afterwards he would try to run off and ring people's doorbells in hopes for more candy.
Here are our little goblins.

Before we left, Dane kept stealing candy out of our own bowl and acting real macho.

Halloween Party at the Beards

I know anyone from the Heath family will be amazed to see this: Brent actually participated in holiday festivities!

Does this little guy not have the coolest hair or what?

Brooklyn and Dane loved playing in the kitchen. Man, he looks good in high-tops.

I have no explanation for this one.

Bite Me

The other day Blake was taking pictures outside with my camera. After we came in, I noticed a giant mosquito bite right on my forehead. You can imagine my joy to later discover that Blake captured the moment perfectly.

Smokin'

This conversation is currently ensuing in my living room. I have no idea what brought this up.
Blake: Daddy, have you ever smoked a cigarot?
Daddy: What?
Blake: Have you ever smoked a cigarot?
Daddy: Uh, yes.
Blake: What?! You did? When? Was it the old days or the new days?

On the way home tonight we had this conversation.
Me: Blake, I know its hard for you to have a little brother sometimes, and I want you to know it makes me glad when you are nice to him. We really like to see you being so kind.
Blake: Daddy, why do astronauts hop like a bunny?
