The boys' preschool highlights a few kids each month in their newsletter. This is what they had to say about Blake and Dane, along with the pictures they took.
Blake’s creative mind will serve him well when he grows up to be
“a robot builder” and we will not be surprised by his amazing
creations. Blake’s contributions to the classroom are inventive
and original and he is a valued and much-loved member of our
T/Th class. He enjoys all centers in the room, but his favorite thing
about school is the Letter of the Week. At home, Blake loves to
play wrestling with his dad. Blake shared that “my mom cooks
really good food” and that his favorite meal is pasta and juice.
When asked what makes his family special, Blake paused and
pondered in his trademark way and replied, “Mommy is special
because I love her. Daddy is special because he does good
work. And Dane is a good brother.” We think Blake’s special,
too, a good friend and we are so happy that he is in our class.
Dane Heath
Dane is a precious blond-haired, blue-eyed boy in our T/Th class!
He loves to play with the classroom cars & trains and is always
giving hugs to his friend Brady. When Ms. Jennifer or Ms.
Heather sits down on the floor, it isn’t long until Dane comes
over to sit in their lap or “fix” their hair. Both of which we find
completely endearing! Dane loves to be outside. He is always
happy on the playground! He joins his friends in all of our
games, but especially loves Ring Around the Roses and Teddy
Bear, Teddy Bear! At snack and lunch time, Dane sings the
prayer in a way that melts a teacher’s heart! He is such a
blessing and a pure joy to have in our class!

Andrea, I think Blake looks a lot like you in that picture. I usually don't see it, but the expression on his face really looks like you!

That is so sweet. How cool that the teachers take time to note different things the kids are doing.
