Yep, we got to feed carrots to a giraffe. He was definitely the friendliest giraffe I've ever met. His tongue was really long (shocker), black, dry and sticky.
Since this may look to some of you like a stranger holding my kids while Brent isn't around: The kids and I went with Ashley and family while Brent was at work and that's her husband holding the boys.

The giraffe really lives at the trash disposal? Seriously?
I think its really cool, and I'd love to feed a giraffe but I have so many questions....why? what does he eat? why? how did this come about? why?
