I Love Austin*

Brent and I finally went canoeing on Town Lake this weekend. We have wanted to do this since we moved here and we finally took advantage of the opportunity while Randy and Barbara were here to babysit. It was so peaceful and relaxing and a decent workout, and I would love to go back soon!

Also if you haven't been to Torchy's Tacos, I highly recommend it. It's a typical Austin place, delicious food and quality ingredients, served out of a trailer or otherwise unglamorous location, with a few dirty words on the menu.

*although I could do without the 42 days of over 100 degree temperatures we've already experienced this summer
