A Grand Week Out

My kids love Wallace, & Gromit, especially when we watch them at Grandy and Baba's house. So last week in Oklahoma we saw a lot of animation

a lot of red dirt

and a lot of relatives.

We hung out with my cousin Brad's family and got caught in a blinding rainstorm with hail, otherwise dubbed "hoppy ice."We got to play with the newly discovered apparatus known as a recliner.I love to take the boys to campus to run around. It makes memories for them and brings back memories for me.

They got to run a lap around Grandy's track and learn about track and field events.

And Uncle Tommy gave them super fast tractor rides around the softball field.

We saw a baby elephant at the zoo

some fascinating dinosaur skeletons in Norman,

and a couple of crazies at the Sooner store.

Blake and Dane got to attack and clobber the resilient Uncle Nathan,

until he finally used his force to capture all three light sabers and end my stress.

I loved catching up with our friends at church, seeing more of the big beautiful sky and relaxing with Brent's family. Thanks for a great visit! BlogBooster-The most productive way for mobile blogging. BlogBooster is a multi-service blog editor for iPhone, Android, WebOs and your desktop
