Yesterday Dane was riding on Brent's shoulders, and said, "Daddy have black hair, Mommy have black hair, Blake have black hair, Dane have black hair!" Of course, being insensitive and honest people, we told him he has blonde hair.
He seemed a little stumped.
When we got home, he put on Brent's black hat and said, with hope in his eyes, "Dane have black hair!"
Poor baby.

Dane figured out how to access photos with Scribble on my phone, and I'm afraid all my pics are going to have devil faces before too long.

That picture is really funny!
Just remind little Dane that he has blue eyes. That's what we do with Kate. She knows she has dark hair while the rest of us girls have lighter hair. Unfortunately, she equates "being different" with "standing up to pee"-like this: "I have brown hair and daddy has brown hair. Just like Daddy stands up to go pee." Yes, that is an actual quote. Anything different stands up to pee. Awesome.
