Last weekend I made these delicious chocolate chip scones from the Pastry Queen cookbook, which was a lovely gift I got for Christmas. I sort of served them before they were completely cooked. We left them in the oven awhile longer and suffice it to say Brent enjoyed the flakier serving more than the creamy serving. I loved all of it, but I'm not really picky about what surrounds gooey chocolate morsels. Anyway Blake said, "Mmm Mommy I really like this Chocolate Chip Scum!"
Come on over and I will make you some delectable scum too!
P.S. The Pastry Queen cookbook is from the lady who owns the Rather Sweet Bakery & Cafe in Fredericksburg - it's such a cute cafe with delicious food, and the recipes in this book are great!
